Wyatt George has currently serves as assistant pastor, and leads the Tentmaker Project, a ministry that promotes small business and entrepreneurship through Presbyterian churches in Uganda. But he does a lot for us here too. Wyatt graduated form Covenant Seminary in St. Louis in 1970, and began work as the founding pastor of Grace Pres (then Evangelical Presbyterian) shortly there after. He and Betsy raised 5 children in Southern Illinois. While he hasn’t been the full-time pastor for a couple of decades or more, God has continued to use him in wonderful ways at the church and in the community. His wife Betsy leads Five Loaves, a direct aid ministry also in Uganda.
